Release Notes - v1.5 (build 116)
Node Firmware Updates:
- Added new, 2-way networking support to allow Nodes to transmit information back to a controller node, including:
- Node health information (signal strength, temperature, battery and data storage capacity).
- Slow-time data stream to inspect the quality of capture data during operation.
- Added feature to allow Nodes to capture whilst connected to USB power, such as a power bank. This provides the ability for nodes to be used in long-term installations.
- Resolved issue with Strain Gauge Node Temperature captured to csv file with incorrect column heading.
- Set minimum capture delay for Timed captures to resolve an issue when setting an invalid capture delay in configuration.
- Resolved issue to prevent setting invalid capture rates to the Node.
- Significantly improved performance of data capture to reduce start up time and write CSV data more efficiently.
- Minor stability improvements.
Configuration App Updates:
- Added support for 2-way node networking support for nodes controlled wirelessly using a controlling node connected to the PC and app.
- Added option to allow Nodes to capture data whilst connected to a USB power source.
- Resolved issue to prevent applying invalid timed capture delay and sample rate settings to the Node.
